1. The "Bejan" Forest

The reservation is located near the city of Deva (on its Southwestern territory) and is crossed by the county road DJ 708E, linking the Almaşu Sec locality to Hunedoara County.
The Nature Reserve was declared a protected area by Law No. 5 of March 6, 2000, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, no.152 of April 12, 2000 (regarding the approval of the National Territory Planning Plan - Section III - Protected Areas) and stretches over an area of 70 hectares. The Bejan forest overlaps with a site of community importance and has a great scientific value, 8 of the 9 indigenous representatives of the Quercus family cohabit (a species of oak tree), long-term cohabitation leading to the creation of with hybrid species, their presence giving a unique value to this reservation.
