Bolta Apei (Water Bowl)
The Water Bowl is a natural bridge with an oval arch, hammered into the rock by the Cerna River. It has an opening of about 4 meters high. Above it, on a thick arcade of 1.5 meters, a tree grows. A natural spectacle around: dew drops like pearls on grass, embroidered on spider webs, sand with silver reflections on the waterfront, and a play of leaves in the river.
Access: From the center of Hăşdău commune follow the road to Lunca Cernii to the confluence of Cerna with the Bear Valley, where the road is bifurcate. Take it to the right, to the indicator, on Valea Vâlii-Vadu Dobrii Valley road. After 1.5 km, on the right, is the Water Bowl.
